Not everywhere tips, where I live waiters get paid at least minimum wage and none of their wages come from tips (also its mostly just American tourists who tip people here)

When I buy things online it always shows the price for shipping and handling (mostly bc shipping is usually 25-50% the cost of the actual item, sometimes more bc international shipping) and also why do Americans have to calculate like how much to tip and the tax and everything when they go out for dinner why is it not included in the price why is the price of an item not what you actually pay for it

It’s just that the response of the King was “No, fuck you” and they’ve been at war ever since in a thinly veiled metaphor for the cold war except with more skeleton armies.
